I know I said I was taking some time away, but I came across this great Kroger deal today and wanted to share it with you:
Hillshire Farms Lunch Meat 2/$6
Use (2) $.55 off Hillshire Farm Product Printable Coupon (see note below)**
Total: $2.45 each...but you can get them for $1.90 each if your store doubles coupons (mine does!)
**This is a manufacturer coupon that can be found on Target's website. Click Here, choose "grocery", and go to page 6. You will find the coupon there. You can print 2 of them!
What is your favorite thing to do with this product? I have two favorites for this product:
Ham and Cream Cheese roll ups:
Take a slice of deli ham (I prefer Hillshire Farms, but any thinly sliced ham will do)
Lay the slice of ham out flat
Spread a layer of Philadelphia Cream Cheese on the ham
Roll it up like an open end burrito
**Optional ingredient...add a green onion for a little decoroation and added flavor
Ham and Cream Cheese sandwich rolls:
Lay out a tortilla
Spread a layer of Philadelphia Cream Cheese on it
Tear up slices of ham and sprinkle on the cream cheese
Add shredded cheese (I prefer the fiesta blend)
Roll into an open end burrito and slice into bite sized sections
***Optional ingredient...add black olives for a little more flavor
***Also, you can serve these immediately or put a toothpick in them and put them in the fridge (covered with plastic wrap) for about 30 minutes. That will help them hold together better.
Today at Kroger, I found Quaker Chewy Chocolatey Mint Granola Bars on closeout! They were only $.95! I picked up several boxes for my kiddos! They make a great snack on the go with only 90 calories each! Plus, it includes a code for a free e-code from Nick Jonas!
I went grocery shopping today at Kroger and came across a deal starting on Wednesday! Right now their Kroger brand boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders are almost $2.50 a pound. Starting Wednesday, they will be $1.99 pound! Woo hoo!
Some other great deals I saw today:
